Fullscreen Windowed option
« on: October 04, 2013, 04:40:33 am »
I use two monitors. I often like to place my game on my big screen and fill the other with chatconversations and such. It's kind of annoying to have Audiosurf minimize every time I click somewhere outside the game, though.

I currently use a tool to avoid it, but the less extra tools needed, the better. Quite some games have such a Fullscreen Windowed option - Splinter Cell: Blacklist, to give a recent example - and it would be nice if Audiosurf had one as well.

That'll be an engine feature, which comes down to Unity. ASAIK Unity doesn't support that so AS2 can't.
Australia is kinda awesome, but it's no Yorkshire.

If you launch with this option on the exe:
-popupwindow

Does it launch into a fullscreen window?

Awesome, thanks Dylan.

Works as Cadiuro asked. Seems Unity has come on since I look at it last, credit to those guys too!

Is it possible to add that as an option in the Unity launcher?

Checkbox it as Borderless Window?

Would be neater than either settings in Steam or direct launch with arguments. +1 from me there.

Just to let you know, I still support this as an in-game option :p
