Gonna go with the cliche TTFAF, at least as far as playing it goes. I hate the song itself, but the ride is fucking awesome, played it 200-300 times by now. Other than that, I'm really getting into some Crystal Method now, I love high traffic songs as pointman

Too bad I didn't see this before, it's been running for a couple hours now. Will it be any point for me to do it after the defrag? at this rate it won't be finished until tomorrow morning or something, I'll just let it run while I hit the town

Run disk defrag 5~7 times in a row, until it completes in c.10 seconds. XP's degrag doesn't do much in one go so running it a few times gets better results (this was fixed in Win7, dunno about Vista though)

Ah, I thought disk clean up was defrag, I'm running on norwegian sys and the translations aren't always so good. Anyway, lots of good suggestions here, I'll try em and see what works!

edit: this disc defrag is taking long as hell, I guess that means there is alot of crap to clean up? ;P it's been on for quite a while now, and it's not even 1/5th of the way

Got a problem here. It's getting harder and harder for me to make AS videos, it's like my computer has cancer or something. I've not changed any parts, nothing, yet now I can't record on even the lowest setting without it lagging too much for me to record high traffic songs. I'm a complete noob when it comes to computers, I just play games, anyone got any idea what this might be, or even better a way to fix it?

But I don't think I've even played 1/5th of those. Last weekend AS was on for 48 hours while I wasn't even home

Thought I'd mention, if you're having problems with the audio being delayed, and not in sync with the video, go to audio > interleaving > audio skew correction, and just play around with the values to get the audio to fit. I had this problem a long while, cause I thought it was a problem with VD, but it was actually in the raw footage, so it didn't work for me to go to frame rate and make the lengths of audio and video to match.
