why not just use mediafire, easy upload no limit to dl's and it maxes out my connection 1.5mb/sec whenever i get stuff from there

« on: July 10, 2008, 12:33:32 pm »That wouldn't be very nice, because the whole point is that it's easy and fast to get the song. I don't really want to click a link, have to wait for a 1 minute cooldown, and then be downloading the song at 20Kb/s. It's too much effort for a daily song tbh.
there's no waittime on mediafire or badango, and a few others... and unless your on 56k the dl should be under 20 seconds...

couldn't you just upload the song of the day to mediafire, easyshare, badongo, etc..? then provide the link in the app startup window -- then if others have a song they'd like to see on song of the day they can upload and send you the link
only thing i'd suggest is no super-popular bands that would have record companies searching for their songs to kill download links. and just rar or zip the song with the date as the name or something.
