What is "iron mode" exactly? I've never tried this. What I understood from its description it looks like it's for weak machines without much of graphics effects, so I never played it.

It's not that difficult to find since it's Blade's OST. However, if you don't wanna search for it I can PM it to you. ;)

I couldn't find any other suitable section for this topic, so I decided to post it here.

As I just saw there's only one man who was "a competition" to me for a track and I "busted" him from the first time, I'd like to challenge you all with this track: New Order - Confusion (pump panel mix) under mono mode (the mode with emergency lanes). My current result is a bit more than 864 000 points but I'm gonna train on this track for better results. It would be funnier with a competition.  ;D

Who would even attempt to do a song that long?? O_o
I would.  ;D  I tried to load DJ Tiesto - In search of sunrise (part 3) but it didn't work. This part of a set is 79 min 40 seconds...

Discussion / Re: How can I get the start up song of Audiosurf?
« on: February 22, 2011, 02:09:06 pm »
Thanks a lot for your reply. :)

I Googled for it and I saw a forum post that said the track was called "Audiosurf Overture" and that it was written by some Spanish or Mexican guy specially for Audiosurf - that's why I couldn't find it.

How can I get the start up song of Audiosurf? I'm talking about the music that plays every time I launch Audiosurf. I wanna try ride it but I couldn't find it anywhere in the game folder. I think the title is "Audiosurf Overture" but there's no such a file in Audiosurf folder.

Thanks for the payment reply, I'll see what I can do with these sites.

Offtopics: About pirating - say that to the guys who cracked the game, I just downloaded it. In that time I couldn't pay it for many reasons but now I can and I want to.

Many people think that Flex Type doesn't screw up Windows but it's a public secret that it does. The case with Steam is quite the same. ::)

The last time I installed steam for another game I had to reinstall my OS because it screwed up the kernel.

Edit: is there an option to pay through Google Checkout?

Troubleshooting / I can't read audiosurf's buttons
« on: December 14, 2009, 10:39:39 am »
Last year I bought a new videocard and that's when the problems began: I can't read the most of the game's buttons such as "Resume game", "abort game", etc. I can only read those below the title: back, options and login. All others are blank.
The new videocard is Sapphire HD3650 512 MB AGP with support of pixel shader 4.0 and DX10. While I used ATI 9550 AGP 256 MB everything was fine. But after I replaced the VGA with a better one I can see only this:

I always install my all games in D:\GAMES and I suppose that the path will be like D:\GAMES\AudioSurf\engine\laddermusic, right? Thanks for the reply, by the way. :)

Troubleshooting / Re: Help with OGG to MP3 conversion?
« on: February 28, 2008, 08:15:16 am »
I don't know why did you put this post into a new topic since it is a game problem. I do the conversion correct. Besides, I do this kind of conversions not for 1st time and all media players you can say they all play the converted files. But AudioSurf doesn't want to play these conversions. So the problem is in the game and the previous post should be in the topic where I placed it earlier today but not here in another topic.

Troubleshooting / Audiosurf won't play converted OGG to MP3 files?
« on: February 28, 2008, 01:20:44 am »
Please report bugs here that prevent you from playing. Things like crashes, not being able to open any folders in the song selector, or getting nothing but a blank screen.

Thanks!
If you have heard about CABAL Online - it's a game whose music is in OGG format. I'tried a few times to load its OGGs. The game analyzes them but in the menu which shows the curve they don't appear - there is shown the last loaded track which then was Hans Zimmer - Jack Sparrow. And I couldn't make the game to load and play anything different than MP3 - not OGGs, not WAVs, not WMAs... Fortunately, I have Free MP3 WMA WAV OGG Converter and there was no problem. Or it's what I thought... BUT - after conversion from OGG to MP3 AudioSurf didn't want to load it again. I don't know why it's like this but it is. I can only play songs ripped from CDs or downloaded from torrents.

Songs / Re: Your online Audiosurf video's
« on: February 28, 2008, 01:05:12 am »
If you have any videos you want to show off: post them here :)

I'll start off with a Rainbow Flyer remix. DJ Taka (you know him from beatmania and ddr) rules in Audiosurf.

The most insane song I have: Excel Saga's menchi song. Sync up amazingly well with the dog's squirms :p
Why did you miss so many reds in the Flyer mix? The reds give the most points. Btw, did you know that if you drive the shuttle between two lanes and its nose points the line between the two lanes you can catch all blocks on these two lanes? :) ;)
