Anyone know if its posible to make your audiosurf old school? like before "the performance update" so i can play audiourf again as i see it still hasnt been fixed for ati cards.  i realise that i couldnt get scores with this but at least i could play without lagging all over the place

just loaded up audiosurf for the first time in aaaaaaaaaages.  Had a look at the leader board and... wtf eraser is at the top of them all.  Isnt eraser a noob character... for people learning how to play puzzle :S.  its ridiculously easy to use what happened!!  sad day for pusher by the looks its useless now... and the hardest character to use.  No wonder i have 500 dethrones now lol.

so who's all played the beta its awesome!!!





Iv got a few people with this now favourite 2 were dschallert, who sent a pm to dylan asking for a copy and maiev who wrote this:

In total i got 4 people to believe i had the beta.  Dschallert, maiev, Embolysm and bw.  and as a knock on effect dschallert when he realised that it was fake he got lethargy to pm dylan 2 lol.

Uupis was the only person i tried it on who straight away busted me ^^.

I just heard about this today.  Anyone else think the guys talking about it is talking out his arce.  "5ms ping."   yeah right!! for that to be true, amusing no latency to server and no time encoding decoding. this server would have to be running the game at 200fps.  i don't care what computer hes got  they are not going to run crysis 200fps... and if the do they will cost so much it wont be worth it.  I think the best case scenario where u are next to a server it will have at least a 60ms delay.... which tbh would make playing the game rubbish.

So does anyone think this is going to work?? or is this going to be fail? and does anyone think there is even enough internet in the world to run this lol.

Troubleshooting / New GFX card = a lot lower fps ???

I recently bought myself a new GFX card to upgrade my computer. In all games there has been a huge increase in fps.  Crisis runs at full gfx with 40-45fps.  L4d runs at 120fps at full gfx (before only 25) etc.  but in audio surf it runs much worse and is jerky even on the lowest graphics settings.   Before i could fraps at HD quality with 40-50 fps. now on normal i get 30-40 fps when im not recording :\. Also the problem seems to get worse the longer i play.  if i play audiosurf for an hour it becomes unplayable. 

Does anyone know why my new GFX could cause this and how to fix it!

PC specs: 

CPU : E6600 @3.0GHZ
Ram : 2x 1GB @ 800Mhz
GFX : Sapphire 4870 1024MB

Old GFX: BFG 7950GT

Just loaded audiosurf and on all songs blocks were faster than the car so at the start the blocks move away from u and u never catch them :S wtf!!

restarted audiosurf and its all fine.

anyone else had this glitch/know what causes it?? easy way to get stealth ninja lol

Feature Requests / special radio song idea.

I was thinking for a radio song one week like we had the special conditions last week to have a style where the blocks you have collected are invisible.  Just like grandmaster on tetris.  This would make it really interesting and hard so you have to remember where you have placed you blocks.

since the new update i cant tab out and if i try it really messes things up, have to guess where the game is on task bar and right click close it.

Troubleshooting / Car stops moving ???

just before the end of the song iron maiden by iron maiden my car come to a complete halt. (About 10 car lengths from the end) if i press esc and then resume the music starts from the beginning again and the cars jets move to the music but my car doesn't move.  iv tried re analyzing the song but that didnt work any ideas to whats going wrong??

there isnt one single block in the song when u play it ?! . (easy way to get stealth achievement lol)

other peoples versions seem to have worked fine why not mine?? has this happened to anyone else?
