IIRC "RAM preview" is the only way to preview After Effects compositions with sound.

When you're rendering the intro, remember to tick the "sound on" box in the advanced options for audio/video compression options.

so if i want to put audio.. it wouldn't be easier to just make an animation and then the audio in a movie editor?
by the way... if someone of you can teach me how to make a moving intro it would be great!

Google should be your first port of call.

i searched for AE tutorials and for the audio problem and i have been looking for about 1 year and couldn't make it work xD
and the tutorials are very simple. the intros they show are very simple. what i want is to make a moving background with moving waves in opposite side moving. i just don't know how to do it

There's bound to be an amateur enthusiast forum for AE on the internet that can help you out.

At a guess, you need to layer effects and build one at a time.

ya what is the intro for, since in most cases it's just annoyance, it is like the equivalent of s start page for a website, in video form, your best up just to skip it and give the user what the want upfront.

i make the intro background transparent while showing the AS gameplay. and i used to put music on the intro and sound effects on AS so i don't have Copyright issues. but now i only use AS effects

my point was, is it actually adding something with substance to the video, or just obscuring the users view.

Had a look at your YT videos head_hunter9866, can't say the effects add anything of worth to the video.

i know. the volume of them are pretty low, still they sometimes sound when getting the score up. it kinda mess up the song if you try to play it if you downloaded it with a youtube downloader. i experimented with it. also they haven't removed any of my videos because of that. and to the other comment...
its just messing the video xD i just liked the idea to put an intro to my videos. and there it is!

No offence and I'm not flaming, but there's not a coherent sentence there.

Are you trying to say you ripped the videos from YT and then added a (bad) intro effect to them?

The effects aren't very loud, but you can still hear them when scoring high.  They mess the song up, so there's no point in downloading the video instead of getting the song elsewhere.  Also, none of his videos have been copyright claimed.
