The Root of All Evil - Dream Theater
« on: February 16, 2008, 07:07:54 am »
I highly reccomend this song, especially on Double Vision or Pointman Elite/Pro. There are a lot of fantastic and strange time signature and tempo changes and Audiosurf seems to like the fluidity of this song, and it's a evry fun ride.
Now if we could link AUdiosurf and Guitar hero together....

Haha fancy seeing you here.

Having fun with the game? A lot of DT and JR works well with this. Just tried Screaming head and Ra. Wowza!

I havent actually bought it just yet..just played the demo.  I will probably buy it after my exams this week so I dont get distracted haha.  I did Change of Seasons on it earlier since it was my last song I could play before the demo runs out..it was pretty sweet

Aye, it was probably the first song I played when I got the full game. :)

By the way, False News Travel Fast by Sonata Arctica plays awesome as well, you can almost make two Match 21-s with Ninja Mono, and a lot of big clusters all along...  :o

Since this is mostly about Dream Theater, has anyone tried playing Losing Time (Grand Finale) off of Six Degrees?  I don't know if it's just my copy of it, but it loaded with a traffic congestion of 3 (Elite Pusher), there were like 12 blocks, and the song couldn't even finish.  It was very strange.  I didn't think it would be a great song, but I was just going through a bunch of DT stuff, and wanted to see how it was, but the blocks were not indicative of the song at all.

And yea, Octavarium was fun!

I had no such problem with Losing Time, the blocks came with the beat and without any hiccups at all (I didn't finish the ride, though, I just logged in before heading to work to check if it was the same for me too...).

Dream Theater is really great, or at least the two tracks I've played yet. I can recommend Honor Thy Father, absolutely great! <3
