Hey, guys! I don't think I qualify as an 'old' regular, since it's only been a year or so since I was last around, but I guess I can use this topic to ask you guys what's up.

I've been very busy myself, and switched away from using Windows, so I haven't been playing Audiosurf. I should come back, and start working on reclaiming all those thrones. ;D

I used to be on here a lot.
I had to recreate my account today just to post about it.

When this game hit steam i was so psyched that i made all my friends pay for it. I still play it, and i'm still VEGAS for life. (mostly because i don't enjoy the mechanics behind the other modes.)

I still check in and giggle at all the people talking about "character balance" and more so back when that was "the big deal"
I just wish steam had tracked all the hours i spent on this game.

I wish i could remember names, mine was SDK-Exile or some such. Since it was available i just cut out the SDK for the re-make.
I haven't logged into the forums to post since early 2k9 and it was a bunch of barely-memorable names then.
I do remember Lavos, though. Louis EX. Buncha random names like that that i never see any more. You'd think I'd recognize Laser more easily but i honestly don't. I think i used Avatars to associate with people more than any thing.

I made a new audio-surf account for the occasion too! i get to re-claim all my thrones and likely most of them from my self. I don't own nearly half the music i used to though.

Well, last time you were here I likely was still using the bit I cut out of an 8-Bit Theater rather than the current one someone made for me.

Same. Human memory is good for remembering faces (even if you can't name them), and the avatar fills this void text based communication causes.

When someone changes their avatar it's like I don't know who they are, which does confuse.

I think I remember that one....

Names yes, though avatars are faster to optically parse.
