I can't login to the audiosurf game!

If you are getting any error messages, please take a screen shot with Steam and paste a link in a reply. To take a screenshot press F12 while in-game, then go to your community profile, screenshots, and copy the link.

I haven't been able to log on, in game, at all since I downloaded Audiosurf this morning. It keeps saying Login Failed even though I am 100% sure the info is correct. Even outside of the game, here, half the time I enter my login info either nothing happens or it fails. What is going on?

And yes I verified my local cache.

There is the pic of what it says after I have successfully entered in the correct information. I erased the username and pw from the screen shot just for the sake of security.

Another question. Maybe this is part of the problem. The user name I selected is Suikoden. I log into the forums no problem with this user name; it is the only user name I have gotten from Audiosurf. Yet when I try to log in in-game, it has the username field filled with yourname@youremail. My user name has no email, so I don't know why it says that. I tried using my email as my user name too, but it didn't work.

Yeah, so I'm an idiot. I didn't realize I had to have a separate account for both the game and forum (seems odd you have separate ones tbh). I thought the thing that I created was for both cases. I created another account from the ingame prompt, and now it is working. Thanks guys!

why does that seem odd, not everyone who plays the game will need to access the forum, so having the account info shared between the too would just add a lot of unused data to the forums database.

well and the fourm system cant do that out of the box too, and it would take time to code a bridge between the 2 systems

Hey, i cannot log in too. But my username is correct and it says me failed. For me i've different ID for the forum and the game. So that's not the problem. I can login on audio-surf.com but not when I play. Someone can help me ?
I've tried to uninstall steam & audiosurf and install it again no changes. So... It's verry annonying...

I don't have Internet Explorer, but I guess it's the same for Mozilla. Make sure that's online mode?

There's your problem, AS needs IE installed to submit scores and login etc.

Nope. I never had IE and before i was able to log in. So I think that not this...
