High score

So I'll finish a song and get a higher score than my previous and it will update but when I get the new high score it won't update that at all. I go back and replay the song and get higher than my previous but not quite as high as the best and it updates. It just won't update when I get the best score. What do I do/What's wrong?

edit: happened again where I got the high score on my first try and it showed this...

even though i was using ninja mono it changed the character name too

Looks like the data was malformed when the server received it, iirc it defaults to Pointman and there's been a few bugs mentioned where the wrong character shows. Using search should reveal them.

Does this happen with all songs? Or just randomly?

all songs, it didnt always happen either, its a new problem. Ive tried disabling the firewall for a short time: no. Unplugging the router I use to provide the rest of the house with internet and directly connect: no. I cant see what the version number is but I had it checked as "keep updated" or whatever that option is, I checked the local files to make sure they were good; There were 5 files that needed to be downloaded, that didnt fix it either. I even went into the files and edited them in WMP so their artists and alblums were correct and nothing.

IE is not in offline mode, I can conect to that page, I can see others' live updated scores.

Im pretty much out of ideas at this point

EDIT:
Now I have it showing me nearby scores but for the wrong songs.
I was playing a song Ive never ridden before and it showed that Id ridden it 3 times and commented on it too
