Game screen completely white.

Hey, so after the latest patch, my game screen... with the track and effects... is completely white... like... totally and completely white. No matter what color I choose the backgroud to be, no matter what AA, what settings, what sounds I play with, what character I choose... no matter what... my screen is white.
That means the game is completely unplayable.

Quest3D, which AudioSurf uses as its engine, has a plain white background by default. This appears whenever something is being loaded; as an example, the first time I played the screen was pure white except for the top toolbar when I clicked "Play" for about 30-some seconds.

If your screen goes white and this is not corrected in a few seconds to about a minute, it means part of the game completely failed to load. Please post exactly which button you pushed just before the screen goes white, and the AS devs should be able to help.

I've got exactly the same problem now. In addition, the Fullscreen and Change Resolution buttons don't work any more, plus all my progress (unlocked characters, etc.) has been wiped.

It's odd, because last night the game worked perfectly.

I have the same problem. No problem last night and after the update, all white except for the track diagram in top left and a small rectangle in the top right.

Getting the same error.. game was working fine yesterday..
After the update I'm getting a white screen ingame.. I still can see the points and hear the music and sound effects.

After a redownload, I've now got the track back on screen but now no blocks or ship!

Edit: Another reboot, the game's working fine again. It seems to be a temperamental beast!

I restarted steam and now it's working fine!

This happened to me a few times, I found that changing the screen effect in the options back and forth fixed the issue for me each time it happened.

I had this problem, this is how I fixed it:

Go to Steam -> My Games

Right click on Audiosurf, "Properties".

Go to "Local Files" and select "Verify integrity of Game Cache". Wait until it's done

Then, it worked fine for me again. Might not be a fix for everyone, but try if it works.
