By the sounds of it, you have an integrated GPU, which would give lower performance for higher graphics demands. The engine AS is made with isn't know for it's optimisation and low resource requirements.

Don't. You're paying a premium of about $1000 for what amounts to a pretty case. Basically anything (other than Apple) is better than them - I've been looking at ASUS laptops and they're madly spec'd for about half the price of say, a MX11.

I'll stick with my matt black laptop, ta. It's a device, not a fashion statement. Don't tell the Apple crowd though, it would break their little hearts.
