Scoring down for rest of beta

Hi everybody--scoring is now disabled for the rest of the beta. We're really sorry--we didn't expect so much interest this weekend, and we've had about 3400 people create accounts and play over 40,000 songs!!  Which is great, but taught us that we need to upgrade to a dedicated server. 

So--anyone who currently has an account can keep on playing until tonight when we pull the beta, but scoring is disabled since it's just hammering the servers too much.  We will upgrade our server ASAP for the next beta/preview/release.

We won't allow any new account creation today though--we're just concerned that it'll be too confusing for novice players to not see their damn scores anywhere. If people you know are interested in playing the game, please have them sign up on our email mailing list to get the next release, and further news about Audiosurf at audio-surf.com.

I guess I owe you guys an apology... I didn't expect that after I'd reveal the beta to a certain community, it would get so much popular and loved over the night. I really hope nothing was damaged and that it'll only help you with your testing. Unfortunately I can't control people, they already created an offline patch for the game and will play it until the full version is released, but that only proves that you created a magnificent game here and should keep working on it to make it perfect. Some even said that listening to music without the game is now boring.
