Laser:Re: Everyone involved in the discussion about Jhooge in the 'post your desktop' thread: that was not the place, nor is anywhere on these forums the place, to call out religious beliefs. Lava's desktop itself was borderline, but I left it and so by the same terms I would have allowed Jhooge's comment(w/screenshot of desktop) had the conversation stopped there. Religious discussion has already been a touchy subject, and I will not take any further breaches as lightly.
I have also added clarification to the chat rule re: trolling "Anyone raising a subject deliberately to cause offence will be treated as a troll and the appropriate action taken"
I have gotten in contact with Dylan and he has(is going to?) upgraded the forums, and is also working with blue_h3x on installing reCaptcha. We will win the bot war!
Recently the topic of pirating songs has come up a bit often, and I feel I should probably lay down a guideline for those who aren't sure: we here at the Audiosurf Forums, for a variety of reasons, do not condone using these forums for pirating. This includes everything from straight up attaching a copyrighted song to your post all the way down to the ever popular "pm me if you want this song". None of this is permitted, but unless you actually link to/attach the song nothing more severe than a warning will be handed out(from me, anyways. I do not speak for the others as to that bit).
I suppose some clarification is in order: this in no way prevents anyone from talking about pirating; we can't deny that it exists and so we will not ask you to act as if it didn't. This only means you can't enable it through this site.
The next person to post something obscene or otherwise unallowed with the sole justification 'etrysdynat asked me to do it' is getting a seven day ban. That account was banned for a reason.

EclipseCookie has gotten a 7-day ban for posting how to cheat and breaking the rule of creating posts saying "ertrysdynat told me to do it". I know he was trying to help, and I do appreciate it, but he should have taken more care when pasting mblunk's comment.
I banned Jhooqe due to his incessant flaming to Mono players. I banned him for 3 days. He should be coming back in 2 since I wasn't able to post this the day I banned him.
