Add multiplayer

Please add a multiplayer system. I would love to be able to play this game with my friends. Maybe you could make it into a split track (2 tracks) where one would play on one track. And the other person on the other track.

Yes Multiplayer would be really great.

It would be even better, if it could support even more than 2 people.

But the question would be then:

How we design that game mode then :)

Does Double Vision not exist?

It's a two ship single player mode. NOT a two player mode. There's no challenge as such between players. Not like two identical lanes and two people playing each to out do each other.

The DV info advertises it as a possible two-player co-op mode.

What if some mode was added where there are a few ships on the board, each one capable of catching one color? You'd really have to work together to achieve a great score. Or some duel mono mode where the two ships can hit eachother, the one with the most captured colored blocks or less grays would win? What even if you just have to dodge grays and push the other player into them, maybe grabbing coloured blocks (of which there would be a lot less on the board) to reduce the count of grays captured?

I'm just throwing in some ideas.

It'd be nice, now try to talk Dylan into this.

Doesnt work over internet / LAN.

I prefer to have my own controls and screen too, which would be possible with LAN / Internet support too^^

There is no excuse for Audiosurf to not have online support for double vision by now. Beat Hazard Ultra will have it, why can't Dylan release "Audiowave" if he wants to use DLC to spice up interest?

That's pretty ignorant and unfair. You have no idea what's going on in his life right now.

But I kind of agree. He hasn't really done anything substantial for the game in about two years...

I've grown to expect that he will never do anything more with it. Which is okay. It's still a great game. Much more so than that flashy but boring poop known as Beat Hazard. And Turba. And Rhythm Zone...

I really want to like Turba. But with it's current laughable "beat detection"... bleh. I'd rather just play Audiosurf.

Don't knock on BH just because Starg actually bothers to update his game. Don't kid yourself, we both know that's the reason you hate on it.
