Image based scoreboards and forum sigs

Some of you may already have seen this in my forum sig but I didn't released it officially until now (there are probably some bugs).

I've added an option to create image based scoreboards from my web page. Just search here for the song you want, then click on the "Embeddable scoreboard" link and copy the url to the image. Or you can register here and get a forum sig that randomly shows a song you played every time the page is loaded.


BTW. English is not my native language, I have a question for you native speakers, what is correct "there are probably still some bugs" or "probably there are still some bugs". I always get the order wrong.

Doesn't matter, English doesn't have a rigid word order, though the sense can be changed through word order. It's a subtle complexity.

"I probably eat apples" is correct "I probably still eat apples" is correct too, but "I eat probably apples" is not correct.
So in that case it should be "there probably is a bug". The word "still" messes this up for me, as they are both adverbs, which means 'probably' and 'still' should be next to each other, iirc. So that would be "there probably still is a bug" IMO, that feels right.

I believe both "probably we will get yelled at" and "we probably will get yelled at" are accurate as well as grammatically correct.

Actually, "probably we will get yelled at" should have a comma behind it I think (just as I did with 'actually' in this sentence)
I'm not sure about "we probably will get yelled at". I think it's right, though I would've gone for "we will probably get yelled at". I think that is most common and putting the word between the auxiliary and main verbs is right in 99% of the cases.
"we will get probably yelled at" does not seem right to me, however, "we will get yelled at probably" i'm not sure about.

I do not know anymore what is right and what is not. Every time I use an adverb in this post it makes me think: "Hey, it's in a different location again" (as illustration, I bolded them all)

@fergtm, I have a question. I've been having that signature right here and it's really sweet. But there is something that bothers me. It's like the "random" list is really small and limited, i see repeately many boards but can't see many other? Is it my imagination, can you share some information about the "random" signatures algo? Thanks.

There is no way of getting the list of songs from the audiosurf server. What the algorithm does is every 3 days (more o less) it builds a list of potential songs to show for every registered user. This list is build from songs that were searched at my page and from the recent songs you played.

If nobody has searched for that song and you played it before registering for a sig then it won't show. You can force a song to show by searching it.

Since some people (like me  ) only have the first place for a few songs I've changed the sig code to show any song played (not just thrones). So the question is for people who are using this type of sig is if you want to leave it like that or revert to the old version.

The user page will continue showing only the thrones and the random scoreboard sig shows only songs were you are in the top 3 places (although I am considering changing this to any song where you are in the top 5, opinions?)

Yeah you should do that.

I believe having random scoreboards instead of the ones where you are in the top 3/5 defeats the purpose of having the sig in the first place (which is showing off, right? :D)
