Uhmm...my program won't run cause it's asking for an updated version. Or hasn't the tournament started yet? Because i thought so.  ???

If you are using the version I released when I created the post (1.0) then yes, you have to download v1.1...

Anyway we're still 26 minutes away from releasing everything so even the updated version will display the "Unavailable" message.

the program doesn't work.
YAAP 3.2 don't work, either.
I've got .Net framework 2.0 SP2, 3.0 SP2, 3.5 SP1, 4 Client Profile, 4 Extended installed, and I'm running XP SP 2.

sigh. it seems that .Net hates me ???

Edit:
Login - OK
Launching Audiosurf - OK
Connect with Audiosurf - OK
Playing - Clicked, the track shape loads, and before the Fly-in to the track, an Error Box popped up: "External component has thrown an exception"

if I continue to hit continue, the box will disappear, but at the end, i get Error #37, Error submitting score.

the Error Details:
Code: [Select]
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

gakpak:

Try this:
Download CCleaner -> http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download

Install it and run it, head over the Tools tab, select "Uninstall"
Select an entry that has "Microsoft .NET", ".NET" or anything related to it on the list, click "Run Uninstaller" and uninstall it. Repeat the same process for every entry you see.

Head over the "Registry" tab, click "Scan for issues" then "Fix selected issues...", when prompted to do a backup, please do so, then click "Fix all selected issues". Repeat the same process until there aren't any registry issues left.

Reboot your PC and download this -> http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5

Install it and reboot your PC again to be sure.

Everything should be working now.

Follow the same steps as gakpak.

Other thing to try is to extract AWTP on a folder with write permissions, like Documents.

Good job with this!

Curious, where a download link. Sorry I have a headache and am probably missing it right in front of me.

It's attached to the post, the link labelled Audiosurf World Tournament Program.zip.

Sorry, I still can't find anything. Is it this post or another post. I click on this one a million times, go back do it again and nothing pops up, and I see nothing on the post.

I can't open this program. I extracted it to my desktop, and when I launch it, it errors out saying "Audiosurf is not installed or is not up to date. Please update or install Audiosurf. Exiting"

Steam for me is installed on my HDD (E: drive), and I have an SSD (C: drive). I extracted this tournament app to both C: and E: drive, tried to run it as admin (Win. 7 x64), no go.

Also: I own Audiosurf legally.

Try verifying game cache files, then run Audiosurf and then AWTP.
