Audiosurf on Steam Bestseller list

AudioSurf is first on the recent top seller list on Steam, above COD4 and Orange Box! This is a great accomplishment. A lot of people must have seen it on Steam and bought it, as well as all of us who have been following the game.

Dylan, does Steam tell you how many have purchased it? That would be an interesting figure.

Yeah, Audiosurf has had a lot of downloads recently.  Just to clear something up that I know some people have trouble with, it's not an all time best seller list, it's a recent best seller list.  Just want to make that clear.

I don't think Valve takes half. That sounds more than what retail publishers would get and negates the whole point of digital distribution being the cheaper alternative.

And how big publishers have pulled games from Steam because the lower prices are hurting retails (apparently) Ask about Steam product list in Japan, Australia etc. THQ, 2k, Sega games aren't available to them or are extremely limited.

Its more of a guess but i really dont think that its anywhere near 50%
