Tbf, that leaves out a whole host of things.
Like the HP TC1100 screen being pressure sensitive (like a drawing tablet), not capacitive, which means no multi-touch and stylus only.
The HP TC1100 also has a Pentium M, which means it will
eat batteries (it's quoted at 4.5 hours, so in reality you'll probably get 3-4), The iPad's lasts between 5 and 10 (according to gizmodo), depending on what you're doing. This obviously means nothing until you realise the iPad has a 25 watt-hour battery whereas the HP TC1100 has a 40 watt-hour, so even with the much larger battery (and I bet it weighs a ton with that beast in there) the x86 CPU yet again demonstrates it's inability to go mobile sensibly.
Just to put that in further perspective as to how much Apple have mucked up the battery in the iPad, my HTC Hero has a 5 watt-hour battery in it and I'll easily get 5 hours of very heavy use out of it and over 48 on standby.
My point? Well, it's a bit of a "bash the Apple device without researching" picture. I'm all for bashing Apple, but it's so much more satisfying when it's justified.
