Wow
« on: February 12, 2008, 12:53:35 am »
From 10 mins ago to about now, I was just watching some tv with my steam window open ready to play.
As soon as I stop watching my tv I turn to my computer screen and see the home steam window with the game ads going one after another. I notice the Audiosurf ad. Natually when I see a new game on steam I just go to my games tab and forget about it if the new game doesnt "catch" me, but since I love music games I clicked it and started skimming the features of this game.  I naturally love music games from IIDX, DDR, SM to Guitar Hero and Rock Band.  So I start to get into the idea of a new music game and I check out the main page on this site, then on to some videos. I tend to think *ok a new music game* and maybe we can endup having a community making song files, but what pretty much was the "hookline and sinker" if you will, was the fact that we can use our own music right off the bat without having to make our own "steps" I guess is a way to put it. Wow I have to say its about time!  Im already "bought" and this game is as good as mine when its released on steam.  I will now have a reason to listen to my Drum and Bass archive while checking out some nice visuals and puzzle thinking. (Nice hybrid feature btw, the puzzle part).

So yeah, theres a little something Id thought I mention of a game I dont even own yet.

This game looks awesome and its potential is great for any music game lover.

I still dont know enough of the game so Im not gonna ask much and look stupid.
But Ill know soon enough.

:P

Cant wait.

You may as well preload.

For anyone that doesnt know: After buying the game right click on the game in the games tab and click preload. It downloads all the game files so on the day you can play right away :D

Welcome, and moving to steam was one of the best ideas, mainly from the advertising they can recieve because of the amount of users. good choice!  ;D

Cant argue with 2 front page adverts + a front page news item on a page that 15 million people have access to whenever they play games.

Cant be doing bad if AS is top of the charts in steam at the minute.

I love how everybody who buys the game makes a new topic for it even though theres already a topic for people to say they bought it in :P

I'm thinking this place needs a "I just bought the game/I just joined the forums" Sub-forum.

Well Jeshi, just so you know when I made the topic I didnt buy it yet. So theres no need to go hostile already.
