Not to sound panicky, but it doesn't happen in HL2:DM or TF2 servers, does it?

Not that I've heard of, was only rouge gmod ones (probably as they run lots of custom stuff anyway)

That's good to hear. I panicked a little while ago while visiting a DM server that had some custom content (I think it was one of those high-kill, low-gravity ones) and then on the next load of DM, there was some weird autoexec.cfg setritus in the console...

Low gravity isn't a mod in HL2:DM, just a setting in the console. ViRUS and Passerby can tell you the fun one can have with it ;)

Hmm, we never made a huge mountain of barrels and things explode while using low gravity...

Ya... "sv_gravity" or somesuch. It has fun side effects, like insane Gravity Gun jumping abuse.

Quite an entertaining read
Indeed, seems my 10 hours vs 10 years argument was successful, even though I could and would do no such thing.

I kind of got that in CoD4, a program was running on my computer to READ memory values - READ mind you, not even change - and Punkbuster kicked and banned me for it. It wasn't even running on my user account, but on my brother's.
CoD4 is now useless to me.

Audiosurf-related, I once played a song that seemed to be registered as the song I played before that. Strange bug, but I didn't know about these forums back than, and I've now forgotten what song it exactly was. I think it was from Daan or Praga Khan, but I'm not sure. Not that anybody else played that song - that's the problem with Belgian artists, nobody ever plays them.

Having noticed that "it" has since retaken the throne after being beaten by metalsurfer, ive come to wonder if logging a new high score resets the cheat report count. Anyone know if the report count is tied to to the player for that song, or just tied to the originally reported score?

There's not gonna be much point continuing to play audiosurf competitively if trolls and cheaters like these are allowed to ruin the game with no recourse.
Maybe dylans working on a cheat proof system for audiosurf 2, we can only hope X)

Maybe Dylan's working on a cheat-proof system for AudioSurf 1?

WE may never know.
