The world is coming to an end

Microsoft has announced IE9 will run CSS3 and HTML5 (with video (h.264)) :O

They also claimed IE7 was going to follow standards before it was released.
I'll wait until it's released until I believe it. ;)

hmm im just happy that on my preferred browser and OS that i get HTML 5 video for ogg theora and mp4. so i dont even care what the html5 video standard will be now.

and standards compilent IE that is a fucking joke.

ya i think the win version olny does ogg

when html5 becomes final im pretty sure the video support will be like it is in linux where by default it wont have certain codecs depending on the license type but will make it easy enough to get the rest after the fact.
