Report a song? (Excessive slope variance)
« on: February 22, 2010, 07:36:06 pm »
Is there any way / plans to report a song which has a large number of different slopes on the leaderboards?
(e.g. http://www.audio-surf.com/song.php?t=popular#43053, appears to have atleast 3-4 different slopes just in those top few)

There's at least 3 different common track shapes. So it's hard for anyone to say what is the right one, without playing it; but even so who says that's the 'right' version? Though they might be live/studio versions, which means technically they are all correct, just the live should be tagged appropriately. As it's not just one that's out of place, reporting every song on the board seems a little over the top. At least without some verification of which shape is correct.
Austria is just like Yorkshire, but they have bigger hills.... oh and they have real snow too

ya it would be hard to tell which one cause in a lot of cases all of them are the correct track.

exemple i have 4 versions of one song and they all make different track shapes.
and im sure this can happen in a lot of cases where someone has the album version, the demo or EP version than the live version and maybe an other liver version from a unplugged gig.

see all of those are correct but they all have different track shapes.
