I took the liberty of editing your post a little bit to show what your real problem is and moved it to the right board.

As a starting point, I'd suggest you to verify integrity of game cache files...

Well see if you can help me.

I can't get YAAP to connect to audiosurf.

I've got windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, and YAAP will initially launch audiosurf but fail to do anything with it after that.

However I have gotten a skysphere gif image to work.

Help plz

Verify/Update your AudioSurf through Steam, that should help.

It's already updated, did the verification and it said 8 files needed to be replaced. Those installed and I still have the same problem, YAAP will only launch audiosurf
