Hi Guys,
What's your favorite car model?
Mine is the Chevrolet Corvette that comes in red and yellow color.
They're so cool and stylish.
What about you?

Uh, 3 posts without an ad, I'm tempted to believe that this is real.  And so I will treat it as such.

My favorite car model, being the mostly uninformed person I am about cars, is the new Ford Flex.  Because it's roomy, it's high-tech(ish), and it looks cool.

None. Cars are boring. They're just devices to get you from A to B. Wink

But to power it you need alternate energy sources, your salesman will suggest at least 3 refills per day. It also works as a hybrid, with around 2/3 liquid, 1/3 solid fuel, and to actually get the best performance from it, you need premium high performance fuel that easily comes at 5$ per liter.

Saying you go at a constant average speed of 20mph, that makes 25$ only for the liquid part at 100 miles, with the 3 refuels in solids per day easily cost another 25$, depending on your choice of fuel. Word has it that some even use luxury fuel that costs ten times as much, but doesn't provide nearly the power output. Is a Bike really the better choice? Wink

About the Car of my Dreams: My Dream Would be a Nissan Skyline GTR 34, Black with red lightning Airbrushings on the sides. An Option would also be the Lexus IS-F, white. Both come at a very high price though, even used. So the more realistic ones would be the Subaru Impreza GT, Model '00, White with black Lightning Airbrush on the side, or the Ford Focus ST, Orange.

And to do my share of Environmental Protection, I'm very interested in the upcoming Tesla S Model, which is a Sportscar powered only by electricity, and therefore largely beats a pedalbike when it comes to miles per gallon, as it doesn't need any fuel which can be measured in gallons Wink

You need to eat regardless anyway. Even if you travel by car, it doesn't stop you from needing to eat.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know, noone ever tried ONLY driving a car during his entire life and not eating anything. This means that, despite its theoretical impossibly, there is no proof that one can't survive without any food if they're only driving a car.

I like such philosophy ^^ Same Reason I say there actually IS a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. It's impossible to get there, noone ever been there, and that's exactly why I say there is gold at the end of the rainbow, until someone shows me that I'm wrong. Since that is just as impossible as to even get to the end of the rainbow, there will never be proof of it. You can't prove what you can't achieve.

So because no one has tried driving and not eating, you are saying that my argument that "you need to eat anyway" is invalid?

Eating (or obtaining sustenance) is essential for life and without doing so will result in loss of life, making the whole driving business irrelevant, and thus is a flaw in your argument. Rainbows or not, you need to eat full stop.

Thre are organisms that can live like 10+ years without any food. Not any virus or bacteria, but like actual animals.

Some bacteria can form spores which can last long periods of time in arid environments. Bed bugs can live a year without feeding and so on; but we are talking about humans and their feeding habits. Unless we have non-human players of AudioSurf....

We need to eat to gain energy, in order to restore our lost energy. If you do use energy, you don't need to restore it. In that case, there are reports of people actually surviving weeks without drinking or eating, in spite of the fact that a human should only be able to survive a couple of days without drinking.

In spite of the fact that humans need to feed in order to survive, if your energy loss is zero, you don't need to eat. Again, the fact that your energy loss can never be zero, it's kind of a paradoxon.
