You wouldn't have gotten anything, because the exam is for speakers of other languages so you couldn't have done it in the first place :)

You should remember, ViRUS is from Argentina.

Of course, I got an A on my Spanish exam, but it was all multiple choice, so yeah...  it's an advanced placement class too, making that even more odd.

Wrong. Lavos^ is British and over here we stopped using gotten a few centuries ago.
Keep up, stop using the beta version of the language, it's moved on since then. ;)

Much US English is actually what hasn't changed since the US was a colony. The language evolved a fair bit in the UK, less so in the US.
It's kind of irrelevant though, language evolves and currently the older US and the newer UK stuff is merging here in the UK as a result of importing so many US shows.
Still managing to keep the proper spellings for the moment though. ;)
