Bit of smash, usually brawl (I'm boring and use Toon Link since they nerfed Link in brawl), used to play Melee (as Link XD) a lot and before that the original on the N64 (again Link mostly). Excellent games. :D

Usually got a FF on the go. Just finished FFX-2 and working on XII now. Got VII and I going on my PSP as well as III on my DS.

Zeldas are a favourite, although lacking a new one at the moment and Twilight Princess felt a bit short. All the side quests (except the poe catching) didn't take long. Was a bit disappointed in that respect, but still enjoyed the main game. Also, the Wii version is a disaster, the GC version is much better. Proper controls ftw.

I sporadically play CnC, my favourite is probably Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge, but the AI is so hopeless in it, it's hard to play these days. I don't play online at all. I don't have any fun when competing with anonymous people, but I enjoy a good LAN session.
Got into Red Alert 3 a bit, but it's lost something and the teams are pretty unbalanced unfortunately. Allies just trounce everyone once you know the tech tree.

Play Oblivion on occasion, although I've not completed it yet.

Also got Dragon Age: Origins but I don't like the way it works much. Should try and get back into it.

Audiosurf I tend to play sporadically and non-competitively.

Only exception to online games is a MUD I occasionally play on called Merentha. Beware my text-based spells! ;)

I totally agree. My fave 3D one happens to be Wind Waker, and I'd totally play through it again if I ever had the time to. Loved ALttP as well. Really the only ones I didn't like were Zelda 2 (wtf) and the DS incarnations.

Pff, wavedashing eh...play Luigi and wavedash - it's funny, lol. I don't know, I've picked up a few tricks like wavedashing out of shield after learning wavedashing/L-canceling, but I can't play Melee at tournament level yet (especially since the skill level of players has risen dramatically).

Full list:
Melee: Falcon, Fox/Falco
Brawl: Marth, Snake, Metaknight (eew), DK, Falcon

I dabble with other characters occasionally, but I like Falcon in melee for overall awesomeness .. and fox/falco because they make my hands move fast, lol. For Brawl, it's a larger list - I can probably play brawl at close to a tournament level, but I haven't gone to any venues (nor really have time/motivation to). I usually just end up messing around with friends in team battles/free-for-alls to practice survival skills (living past 180% really isn't that difficult now, especially with DK/D3/Snake).
Metaknight D: If Ike had sped-up smash attacks, he'd be just as bad.
But yeah, Falcon is the definition of awesome. +1

(lol 2nd post)

the only games i play are the ones i can carry with me on the bus ride to work. the other games are just silly.

that being said...

Pokemon (Pearl + Platinum...i really should stop)
Phantasy Star Portable
Guilty Gear AC+
Lumines
Super Stardust (psp)

-non portable games-
Audiosurf
Smash Bros Brawl (don't play as much)
Marvel v Capcom 2 (out of practice sadly)

and some other old games. i don't have a PS3 yet which sucks cause i really want to play Katamari Tribute and Bayonetta (even though i heard Bayonetta has lag issues)

I heard the lag issues were purely over load times, because the PS3 port is half-arsed and can't be installed.
But I may be wrong.
Would be a shame if they've messed it up much more than that, the PS3 has WAY more processing power (although graphically it's evenly matched with the 360).

I usually keep my "currently playing" games list small or else I can't decide which one to keep my full attention:

Dead Space
Mercenaries 2 (with friend)
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Battlefield 2142
Torchlight

I have Doom 3 and RE5 on the back burner for now :)
Everyone drink it, so I'll drink it too!

I play what ever I have time for, which is often a few songs in Audiosurf, which I always end up spending more time on than planned.

Hey! Hey! Stay on the topic here! I forgot to mention Burnout Revenge.
Audiosurf is like a mix of tetris, need for speed and pot... Look at all the colours, dude!
