Heh, I would have no idea...except for a recent surge of a certain pink character, lol. I main Cpt. Falcon in Melee and Marth in Brawl (although I play falcon in Brawl friendlies because he's hilarious, as well as many other characters).

Brawl: Kirby, Puff, Bowser >:3, Toon Link (lol), and I mess around with everyone else (mostly PT and Lucas)
I'm out of practice though. I used to be able to play at tourney level in Melee, but I probably couldn't even wavedash at this point XD
And, yes, unfortunately, Brawl wifi is horrible :[
Pff, wavedashing eh...play Luigi and wavedash - it's funny, lol. I don't know, I've picked up a few tricks like wavedashing out of shield after learning wavedashing/L-canceling, but I can't play Melee at tournament level yet (especially since the skill level of players has risen dramatically).

I dabble with other characters occasionally, but I like Falcon in melee for overall awesomeness .. and fox/falco because they make my hands move fast, lol. For Brawl, it's a larger list - I can probably play brawl at close to a tournament level, but I haven't gone to any venues (nor really have time/motivation to). I usually just end up messing around with friends in team battles/free-for-alls to practice survival skills (living past 180% really isn't that difficult now, especially with DK/D3/Snake).
Argh shucks... I have to say Yoshi is my favorite. His down B move would be Smash's equivelant of CoD's noob tube. And list all games! Any games that you're currently playing, have played or are hoping to play in the future. I only listed the games I was currently playing. And why has no-one asked me about starship titanic?
If I had to list all games...it would be a large list! I would have to go back more than a decade to start with, lol.
Also, I actually have played through Starship Titanic...it was amusing, but what did you expect from Douglas Adams?
