nope, it's not impossible at all since you can move the ship while the camera is being placed behind the ship (I mean, doing that "zooming in" at the start)...

Indeed, you can get the first block, might catch you out by surprise first time, though, restart and get it

There actually are a couple songs I've seen where there is a block behind the ship at the start, which is what I think they were talking about there and also a bug.

I've seen this a few times, though re-ashing a song sometimes works

The bug happens sometimes; the bug can be fixed sometimes, not all the time. I don't know, but sounds like a reason to add a 0.5 second delay if you ask me... Up to Dylan to decide though.

Once again, during the fly in, look at the blocks, not at the track
PS: Gotta put fly in @ the glossary tomorrow. Someone, remind me of that!

I have played a song that even if I move the ship thowards the block at the very beggining of the fly-in, it still doesn't get it.

I have seen said block. There's nothing that can be done about collecting it, though doesn't effect score that much.

That's the point, it can't be collected. That's why I think a 0.5 second delay would be nice. If it's not implemented, no problem, but it would be a nice addition.

There are actually two frames in between the "pan in" and the ship model actually appearing on the track.
Not sure if this affects anything...

Or just a buffer in which no block can appear in the first x of the track

For a while, one of the tips stated something along the lines of "no blocks in the first 30 seconds of the song" so I think that might have been a component at some point.

Doesn't apply now though
