It's perfectly okay.  It's just that the last time we tried, it kind of fell apart due to people not being there often and other such things.

here is what i was thinking of

a game screenshot one.
where you post a screenshot of a game and people have to figure out what game it is than the winer starts the next round with a screenshot.

and a movie one which works the same way

the chances of guessing are very very small, though could be quite interesting

though guess the game from the screenshot would have more play to it, wouldn't be on the verge of impossibility like guess the song

maybe a 10 second video of a song in audiosurf, like the start of the song, and then you have guess the song from that? though you'd need to edit the video to remove the name being displayed at the bottom of the video

Or use one of the many players that include the option to hide that information

you should re-tag the song, so the steam friends don't see what you played.

name the song something like artist-'guess the song' track-which ever number the track is in the competition, eg song 1

Another rule could be that the song must have at least 11 players in every scoreboard...
