Graphical bug with fast songs?
« on: February 01, 2008, 10:23:59 pm »
Hey, I'm really enjoying Audiosurf and the joys of playing my favorite songs, but for a particular song i have, "Too Fast" by Hideki Naganuma,  There seems to be one part of the song when one of the arcs over the track is filled in, so it looks like a giant circular wall... for that fragment of a second...  Of course the one noticable thing about this song is it's almost always in red and very fast.  But it could also be my video card.  Anyone else notice anything on REALLY fast songs?

Yep - that was a bug. A solid white texture was being used for distant arcs which you would sometimes catch a glimpse of at high speed.

May I also point out that, though this might have already been fixed (I was running weekened beta 1), the reflections for the "cars" show up a little late sometimes so that you can notice them pop in.

Thanks for that, another thing is, I had actually tried and ACHIEVED getting a score of 1 on ninja mono. Upon finishing the song the game just closed. No, "we're sorry for the inconvenience but this program must close" stuff or anything.  It just closed.
