Now, normally I would condone piracy, seeing as if I condemned it that would make me a huge hypocrite.
But now, for games like these, games that are made by relatively small studios, I have to buy it. In order to support the indie developers, ya know?

Thanks for the link, Strider. The site looks a bit dodgy to me, too. But that's probably because it's colorful and I don't understand a single word of what it says.

I've downloaded and installed the EXE from there. After the installation the only server it connects to is the one audio-surf.com is hosted on. It has the IP address 204.13.11.207. So from that point of view it looks kosher. When starting it for the first time it reports that you can't play because it has expired. It suggests a restart to let the updater check for a new version. After a restart it connects to amazonaws.com (IP address 72.21.203.129). I'm not sure if that's the address intended by the developer but at least it actually downloads an update that lets you play.

So even if the site doesn't look like it - apparently everything's fine with this file. Btw: my anti-virus software didn't find anything suspicious either.

I didn't undestand what you've done to see the server that the game connects.

That was a firewall reporting the IP addresses - not the game itself. Whenever an application tries to access the Internet it reports this.

Gimmick, same here. This Audiosurf version worked for three songs and then stopped working. Ah well, I've entered my mail address to receive Beta announcements. Hopefully I can play extensively soon.

Well..
I can play whenever I want.
Yesterday, I couldn't play due to the message "Beta expired.. bla bla bla".
But, today I'm playing it freely (except for the 1 song limit, resolved by unziping the patch into the folder again).

You can't play due the Beta expired message or you just don't want play (waiting for full version)?

The demo was supposed to ask you to login after 3 songs to get 2 or 3 more. Is that not working?

Strider, for me it was the "Beta expired" message, yeah. I just unzipped the patch again and that really worked. You wrote that as if it was common knowledge :) I didn't know that. However, I don't think that's what the developer intends with the patch file.

Dylan, I hit the Login button manually without the demo asking me. However, now that I've apparently created an account every time I try to log in nothing happens. So that way I can't play.

The only other strange behavior I'm experiencing now is that I can't select music files. The topmost folder is selected and I can't select another one. This happened the first time, too. Though I don't remember how I got rid of it. Maybe I just restarted over and over again...

Anyway, that's probably a topic for the Bugs forum.

About the login.. I login everytime I get to the rank and it works perfectly. There's just one error: the "9" of "strider3119" doesn't apear on login's screen. Lol.. But nothing serious.

As in, you pay to download from http://www.audio-surf.com/ (or whatever method Dylan chooses, perhaps you just pay for an account or something, I don't know, I'm just pretty sure it will be all digital)

You said "(if brazilian stores sell the game)" which made it sound like you think that they are going to sell it in stores.
