Just installed it on a clean install (albeit Windows 7) without issue.
What exactly is happening?

2.0.7 up!

ThePitch, Audiosurf Options Editor always gave me the same error message on WinXP, Vista or 7, are you sure that you can't launch ANY of Mincus' addons?

Hmm, I wonder if it's a language issue. I'll look over the code.

Could you give me the exact path to Audiosurf? Wonder if that might be the problem somehow...

E:\Steam\steamapps\common\audiosurf

Nothing strange on the path...

Right. Just thought maybe it was in "Program Files" and that had been translated (never know with Windows).

Looked over the code and it does some finicky stuff with resolution grabbing that might be causing the problem.
Try the two attached: The detect version should throw an error and then continue with some default resolutions, the defaults one bypasses the resolution code entirely and just shows some default resolutions (since there's boxes to set your own, this should be acceptable).

Both of them worked now, Mincus, also, both of them showed a "The value of '51000' is not valid for 'Value'. 'Value' should be between 'Minimum' and 'Maximum'." error

Hmm, odd.
Well feel free to include those versions instead. I'd rather 'detect' was used as it's more likely to give the user a mode they want, but feel free to chuck them both in.

Get rid of the original. The only difference between the original and 'detect' is that 'detect' has some checks in place to throw up errors instead of crashing horribly.

now the only one that don't work is the options editor, detect and default give me this error then they keep working.

btw, audiosurf's path on my pc is C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\audiosurf

Yes, that's exactly the same error I'm getting too.
You should be able to start the app anyway when you press "OK" though
Should've read the whole text :P

Wow, I made A LOT of changes for 2.1.8 on a very small timespan, that means I left a lot of bugs?  :-\
