Your online Audiosurf video's
« on: January 21, 2008, 01:00:50 am »
If you have any videos you want to show off: post them here :)

I'll start off with a Rainbow Flyer remix. DJ Taka (you know him from beatmania and ddr) rules in Audiosurf.

The most insane song I have: Excel Saga's menchi song. Sync up amazingly well with the dog's squirms :p
Growing old is unevitable. Growing up is optional.

Oh wow. They really extended the Menchi song quite a bit. I need some lyrics. Not sure I want to PLAY it, but that was awesome. Didn't remember menchi sounding so annoying, though. Maybe she's just more tolerable with visuals...or no head phones.
I mostly play as the Ninja Mono, but I occasionally like to play as the eraser, or as I call it, the "ethnic cleanser"!

The "Bolero of Sorrow"... *nods* I wouldn't mind finding a role-reversed version of the full-size song (one like at the end of episode 26).

Nothing too amazing, but there's my Switchback run.

I used http://www.fraps.com/download.php registered version. Then encoded the video to divx and uploaded it to stage6 (youtube quality sucks)

Pendulum - Blood Sugar (DVP)
Every Extend - Explosion Slider (Ninja Mono)
DragonForce - Through the Fire and the Flames (DVP)
Styx - Mr Roboto (DVP)

Should I write out a guide on how to encode the video and sound efficently? I found a reasonable setup I think.

I wouldn't mind that Iccy : P
I rarely make videos like this, so I am not very good at it.

Yeah. I use Fraps myself. But the only software I have for compressing is Windows Movie Maker.

VirutalDub has more options and lets you encode in various formats. You can also do various other things as well, but takes a deeper knowledge of how scripiting with the program works. I encode in DivX currently.
