Just A Few Ideas
« on: January 20, 2008, 03:48:48 pm »
Some I am sure have already been mentioned but there is a lot going on on this board right now so I haven't read every thread
- This is easily the best game I have played in a long long time - I don't think It is possible for me to get bored of this game -
Just a few things that bother me or I would love to see added
- Changeable background colours - Instead of just black and white I would love to be able to pick something like a tan colour or something similar.
- I have no idea if this is possible but I would love to be able to pick the extreme the level is - I know there are different built in difficulties but I would love to be able to say I want more occurrences of spirals and less of something else - before I start a level - I still want to the game to decide where they occur and whatnot but It would be nice to have a little control -
- more screen outline visuals - you know the little boxes that sometimes appear around the whole screen outlining it and they bump to the music? I LOVE those - but I would love to see more variety in them - perhaps something like blurs or layered colours of objects that take over two parts of the music (say high pitched and low pitched) and they bump accordingly -
Less Abstract Objects - I LOVE the art style of this game - Its fantastic - But I was curious if perhaps you had plans to add more realistic items instead of seemingly random fractal like things flying about - Things such a buildings going up and down to the music or swaying side to side or something - I dunno - This was a really random thought I had - I have no idea how you programed the objects in so I have no idea if such things are actually possible -
- I had more ideas when I started this and this is post is laid out sorta out of order but I am tired so I hope you will forgive me.

well since i dont want to start a new thread im just going to hustle my idea here: a combo meter

as you play either mode, the meter fills ups. once its full it can be activated for something awesome and great (maybe in mono modes it can turn the gray blocks into colored ones for a limited amount of time, and the puzzles modes it auto-arranges your blocks for the same amount of time)

i dunno i think it would give you an adrenaline boost to just get a bunch of points at once, plus it rewards good playing

I agree with all of the ideas, however I'm not sure how the traffic customization would work, given the multiplayer aspect. In the retail version, this could be implemented as an offline ability.

Yes - I don't much care for score boards as this game is something that helps me relax - I wasn't really thinking for multiplayer -

it would be pretty interesting to see playlists implemented in the final build. yeah i do agree with the changeable background. i guess a little bit more customization would be nice.
No doubt about it, you lose.
