(some ideas pulled from other threads that i elaborate on)

-Consecutive Mono - Your score is simply the number of colored blocks you hit in a row.  if you miss a single block or hit a grey, your counter gets reset.  combos mean nothing. (easier mode allows you to miss colored blocks)

-Combo Mono - Blocks take a long time to go into the score bank.  picking up cars yields little or no points, but larger combos are worth far far more. (say, each car is worth 10.  but a combo is number of cars x total point value of cars.  so if you have 4 cars its 4 x 40 = 160.  if its 5 then its 5 x 50 = 250.) grey blocks clear your entire combo but do not hurt your score directly.  you simply can not clear them, thus lowering the max combo you can make.  jump and full scoop thing enabled.

-Normal - what we have now but, perhaps with a few more tweaks?  its fine as it is really.  im not sure i like the way the grey blocks work.  due to the bonus you get, there is such a huge difference in score between perfect and not perfect.  its easier to just avoid colors that are at a SLIGHT risk and get that 30% bonus than to pick them up for a meesly 66 points (plus combo points which still wont make up for the 5 or 6 thousand points the bonus can give)...also, it bothers me that i can play certain songs for the VERY first time on ninja mono and still not hit any greys, clear finish, get a 21 block combo, and get the red and yellow awards.
