[as-everybodymono] tag
« on: October 03, 2008, 06:16:10 pm »
As some of you may know I've been working on an application to automatically insert tags into song titles for adding the extra options.

I was playing around with this earlier, checking everything works and looking for where [as-monopt] tops out (seems to be 20), so I was playing mono modes and using [as-everbodymono].
Using Pusher I noticed that despite it being a mono game, I could still push blocks left and right, so I had a look with Vegas and got the attached screen shots.

First one I have a "sort blocks" powerup, not much use in mono.

Second one is after I got a "paint blue" powerup... Which leaves me with a rather interesting conundrum in that I have blue blocks on the grid in a song that is pretty much all yellow and red.

Amusing anyway.
Presumably the other characters' abilities work as well.

well you should still be allowed to push blocks with pusher and move 'em as pointman, since everybody mono tag only changes it to 2 colors - grey and non-grey -- but is suppose to (and does obviously) let you keep your 'abilities'

other one is obv. a bug, but should probably be an easy fix... just remove any powerups and paints, etc. when everybodymono tag is in use i'd think.

There were previous problems with a mono tag that gave you eight different kinds of blocks to hit (two different yet identical mono colors, grey, and the other 5 colors). Dylan has another hill to overcome!
R.I.P. the Mono Mishap.

I guessed most of it was intended to work like that.
I just found it amusing.

Eraser can erase grey blocks as well, although I've not tested if this counts as a "hit" (was playing with [as-nostlth]).
