Skipping the file is one of the problems I meant. ;)
Especially if the file is still open by Audiosurf, you go to untag it and it fails. But meh, it works, I'm just pointing out potential issues for you, constructive criticism and all that. :)
You could remove the tags by just wiping everything after the first instance of [as- instead of needing the exact string.

Also, I seem to have broken it:
* Start YAAP, add a few songs to the playlist, tag as [as-monoonly].
* Close YAAP.
* Open YAAP, tag as [as-nostlth]
* Click Untag.
* Now, no matter what you click on in the tag centre, only the [as-nostlth] tag will remain in the text box and you're stuck with the [as-nostlth] tag until you restart YAAP.

If a song is skipped because it can't access the file, then just load another on AS, go back to YAAP, select the song you want to untag, right-click and select "Untag selected song(s)" :)

I'll fix the nostlth problem.
Fixed in 2.1

Oh and thanks for the constructive criticism, I do like it as it's the only way I have to know what's right/wrong on YAAP =D

if you mean the commands (Screen Tilt, Sidewinder, Blocks instead of lines, etc - all of the main screen) then yes, you can.
If you mean the options on the Tagging centre then no, you can't use them without a playlist.

Uuuh, did you read the instructions under the "Welcome to the Tagging centre!" text?

What you have to do is to close Audiosurf after you've finished playing the songs and click the "Untag" button on the Tagging centre to remove the tags from your song's titles...

uhh... my computer is annoying, and it kinda cut half the text off. it doesn't scroll down to what you just said, but i'll try that now.

hang on, i just went to look for the playlist, if it's been deleted, will that screw everything up?

nope, as it says on the instructions, just load the same songs you loaded before, create the same set of tags (you can tell because the tags are shown on the box above the buttons) and press the Untag button.

Surely it will, YAAP is prepared for those situations, but still, good luck ;)

Are you sure you're following the steps correctly? What you have to do is to load the songs you want to untag, apply the same options as before so you create the same set of tags they have (compare the ones on the songs' titles with the ones on the box that is above the buttons, note that you will have to write the same numbers if you activated one of the options that require you to do so, like the White block percentage).

Then just click the Untag button.
I've done it just now and it's working here so you must be doing something wrong...

If it still doesn't work, could you send me some pics of the steps you're doing?
