Do other Add-ons work?
Just try my Prodder and/or SPS.
Do they get the same error?

If it's the standard error, it CAN occur if you don't have the correct .NET library installed.
your addons work perfectly

just a guess... but you could try reinstalling .NET http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=10CC340B-F857-4A14-83F5-25634C3BF043&displaylang=en

i already have .net  3.5 installed

Same thing for me, it does not work, gives me the error, immediately upon startup.  I'd be happy to give you any info you need, as I don't think I've EVER been able to run this program, on either 32 or 64 bit Vista.  ViRUS, if you want any info, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thanks, Mapsking

1.8 released, Mapsking and ThePitch, if you still have problems after updating, please post a DXDiag to see if you have something in common

Here is mine, but I have only tried the version through the newly updated AHOAA, I will try the standalone app later.

*EDIT*  I tried the standalone app as well, and same thing, immediate crash.

Well, nothing similar except that both of you have a C2Q, are using WinVista Home Premium SP1 and use your internal Realtek soundcards :/

What about running the app in compatibility mode on WinXP?
And there's been an update for .Net 3.5 SP1 that fixes compatibility issues with some applications, could you try downloading it and installing it?

Sorry about all the problems you guys are having :(

Well, I updated the .NET framework, and also tried compatibility mode for XP, and yet neither one worked.  Same thing as always.  Oh well, I guess for now, there is no solution I can figure out.

Thanks, Mapsking

I'll release the source code with version 2.0, maybe when you download it and compile it yourself (if you have VS2008 installed and cba to do that) it'll work...

Since I really have no idea what those things are, I think, personally, I'll just do without it.  No offense.

BTW, on a completely different subject, I scanned with the program A Squared recently, and a lot of files from my AHOAA directory were marked as unclean, and threats.  You may want to look into it, as I'm sure there wouldn't be anything dangerous, now would there be? <narrows eyes>  :-P
Thanks, Mapsking

Have some trouble with this one, aswell as with others.
Problem Nr.1: Audiosurf Freezing on Startup(over yaap).
Problem Nr.2: Audisoruf Freezing on Songstart(over yaap).
Problem Nr.3: YAAP not connecting to Audiosurf, so you cant change anything.. [I want no roads, damnit!]

One beg. PLEASE, don't always write the good programms in .NET .. its so bugged at my PC.

No offence taken, it should be me the one fixing the program :P

BTW, on a completely different subject, I scanned with the program A Squared recently, and a lot of files from my AHOAA directory were marked as unclean, and threats.  You may want to look into it, as I'm sure there wouldn't be anything dangerous, now would there be? <narrows eyes>  :-P

Well, many addons do some things with AS' files (like Ship/Squid Modder, it renames some files, etc.) also AHOAA is launching other programs trough it so some AVs may consider it a threat (even when you're the one telling it to launch them).

Anyway, if you're concerned about security, I can post an image of a scan using AVG Free (the AV I'm using now) on AHOAA's thread or send you the source code via PM.
