Hey guys, back from holidays.

Just wanted to say that I can reproduce the problem on my netbook and will be using it to try and fix the problem, so far I've got absolutely no idea what may be causing it, though.

I'll keep you guys posted, in the meantime, please make sure you all have Arial Regular installed, since it's the font YAAP uses (I'm going to change that to use the default Windows font so that requirement will go away on 3.7).

Sorry to hear you're having problems using YAAP.

Well, got it working on the netbook... Can you guys please download this version and see if it works? It's a beta version so even if it works you should download 3.7 when it goes final, since this one won't look for updates and the official 3.7 may have some other bugfixes and/or new features.

The changes mostly include bugfixes, most importantly on the hotkeys area, they were recognised wrong by the program, so you'd end up going to the next song when you really wanted to unpress play, that sort of thing that shouldn't happen and YAAP now uses your system font, I tried to make it look decent, but nothing stops you from setting something terribly stupid like Wingdings 48 as a font so yeah, try not to (your Windows would be unusable anyway)... and finally, you can now set the Artist, Title, #, Length, Log and Detected playlists columns' width by dragging them and YAAP will remember their size between sessions, kinda nice since the window now resizes according to your Windows font.

Remember to place it with the DLLs and sorry for the double-post, I wanted to bump the thread.

Still not working for me. :(
Looks to be the same bug as before.
Indications are it's a System.InvalidOperationException, but without debug info I can't tell you more.
Writing to a log file during start up might help diagnose the problem.

This build has a few things disabled and should copy some information to your clipboard when an unhandled exception occurs...
Attached is an example of the message that's shown when something goes wrong (the taglib-sharp.dll was missing in the example).

EDIT: oh, and it also uses the Windows Error Log when something goes wrong.
