Unfortunately, that error I was having with 3.0 is still occurring with 3.1. At least it doesn't prevent the program from running.

Audiosurf has to be on the character selection screen before it'll connect with yaap.

Nice work with the player, although i'm finding it hard to un-tag my entire music collection after accidentally tagging it *all*, due to some errors popping up when i try :(

AS doesn't accept commands during the start-up screens, so it's not just YAAP which is affected there.

Opps, I managed to tag a fair few songs by mistake once.. What errors are you getting?

open YAAP, load the tagged songs, try to untag them, go to the Log tab, CTRL+click every red line and then click "Copy selected fields" and paste them here...

Got a whole load of:
Quote
Error while untagging files: MPEG audio header not found. Operation not aborted.
Error while untagging files: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Operation not aborted.
Error while untagging files: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Operation aborted.
There were some problems while untagging the songs.
Popup windows and that's what was in the log, not that there wasnt a load more of the same from trying to continue with the untagging but i figured you wouldnt want to see that:)

The way i'm trying to untag them is by checking the same tags that i have allready tagged my playlist with then clicking un-tag.
Thought it'd be worth a mention.
Aslo getting the same MPEG error when trying to re-tag them.

Majority of it is mp3, 3k songs loaded from music folder. Possibly some flac, ogg and wma in there too.

the "MPEG audio header not found." bit makes me think that something is wrong with your MP3 files, you may want to try repairing the headers using a program that does so...

In case you want to use foobar2000, you can do this:
Add the files YAAP can't untag to a playlist, select them all, right click one of them, select Utilities, click "Fix VBR MP3 Header...", answer "Yes", let it finish the process and then try to untag them using YAAP again.

EDIT: In case that doesn't work, repeat the steps, but this time use "Rebuild MP3 Stream..." instead of "Fix VBR MP3 Header...", the procedure is exactly the same.

Thanks for getting that bit about .aac in so quickly, this is going to make the two plane rides I have coming up so much less boring.

Yet Another Audiosurf Player stoped working. How do I fix this? (I tried to run it before and after running AS) I would really appreciate any help.

Operative system?
if using Vista or 7: Are you running it from an Admin account?
Are the DLLs in the same folder as the .exe?
Do any of the other addons work? (specially SPS! or any one that uses .NET Framework)
if using XP: Do you have .NET Framework installed?
Did YAAP run at least one time?
