Just switched my dv/dvp/dve ships around (manually, not using the modder) and encountered an unfortunate quirk: The left ship wont show up if changed (at all; every other ship causes this glitch). Only the stock dv ships will display both left and right models. The left ship is still there, of course, just not visible.

Yeah, not surprising. The cgr containing the DV ships has 2 models whereas all the others have 1. You can switch the Casual DV ships for the Pro/Elite ones without an issue if you want.
Playing with invisible ships adds an extra challenge though.
