Yeah. Well, what I meant for Pointman Casual was this: Suppose you have 3 blues which are flashing and another blue on your Pointman-pickup. If you drop the blue now, it will NEVER reach the ground before those blue matches stop flashing! As far as I know, at least this works for Pointman Pro. This is a different mechanic from Gravity Matching which indeed usually doesn't work for either Casual or Pro.
Also, in some rare circumstances Gravity matching seems to work, when the blocks have to fall only a few fields, or if while falling temporary matches are formed by the passing blocks or something like that... I don't really understand it.
Fraps computer lockup sounds bad... there are a couple of alternative programs, but they are only fast enough if you choose a low resolution (like 640x480). And then there is analogue capture which I am going to try some time which has the great advantage of not slowing down the game in any way (you need 2nd computer, however).
