It's just a well-made game. Despite the fact that I generally don't like first person shooters very much (with the exception of really good ones, such as Wolfenstein 3D and Unreal Tournament/UT2004) I liked the game. Not enough to pay 30 dollars for it, but still.

TF2 is fine, but the game play is a little old school for me.

If you don't want to pay for it you can try Dystopia if you have Counter Strike or Half Life 2.  (Dystopia is a mod)


TF2 is a team based Capture The Flag kinda game for now (until the new game mode comes out) it might have team death match too but i don't remember.

Theres like ..what.. 8 playable classes that all do some pretty cool stuff.

soldier update?  do you mean the heavy update next week?  also:  Wolfenstein 3D = MEGA WIN.  i still have the version for the atari also.

I get the impression it is more popular on the PC.  I have it on the Xbox 360 and it does seem a little week for a console game.  I don't care though because it comes with portal and half-life (The Orange Box).
