Having miscellaneous problems? Try verifying Steam files (instructions in post)

Steam > Games > Right click Audiosurf > Properties > Local Files > Verify...

(With thanks to lebeth, I still went and did this with pictures. )

1. Open up Steam, and go to your My Games window. Right-click on Audiosurf and select Properties.



2. Select the Local Files tab in the window that appears.



3. Click on the Verify integrity of game cache button.



4. A nice window will pop up showing the progress of the verification. When it reaches 100%, the window will disappear. Try loading Audiosurf again, hopefully your problem will be fixed. ^^

most likely means he deleted them from where he had stored them, to go by the code

I didn't delete them, the server was moved, and somehow all my pics were deleted, and now I can't connect to re-upload them it's all screwy. Put them on imageshack.

I've been using this to help with Garry's Mod problems recently. Take this thread for example. In it, I tell him to verify. He gives me a confused "What?"

that's because it's a pirated version of the game that you added as a non-Steam game, you have to buy the game.

Just wanted to say a big THANKS for posting this topic! Never had any problems with Audiosurf until recently when it quit allowing me to log in.  Couldn't get it fixed until now.  Appreciate the help.

Try using the e-mail address instead of the username (or the username instead of the e-mail).

That's what I've been trying, but now my character's not loading, either.
