First off I want to say that this game looks amazing as it is currently. You all have done a great job on it.
On to the problems!
- When entering an email for my account I wasn't able to add an underscore (_) and I know a lot of emails particularly within the yahoo and hotmail domains use underscores. I ended up using an alternate email my husband uses.
- When using any Pointman character if you continue to hold left click it will "destroy" any other blocks you come across after the first without some sort of penalty. It neither replaces your held block with the new one or adds the block to your stack. It just disappears. I think perhaps if the scooper ignored blocks after the first and allowed those blocks to enter your lane stacks or replaced your held one that would be great.
- While this was mentioned on another thread I do think that the sound effects should have a preview when you click them. I haven't tried the others yet because I don't really know what they are.
- Do you think it would be possible to add in some sort of loading screen or splash screen between the menu and actual song? Currently after it loads my song and I'm prepared to start playing it I just watch a black screen until the distant track comes up. The first time I played I almost thought it crashed.
Also, while I don't consider this a bug, it's a little weird: if you play anything called unknown - unknown you're taken to a monstrous scoreboard at the end of the level with everyone who has ever played a song with no author or title tags. I'm pretty sure they're not the same song
. Maybe those ones should be ignored? Ah and one last thing: I think you should be able to type in the name of the author and title of a particular song in case the tags were just wrong or missing. Maybe after the song plays before you go to the top score listings.
