Seems cool, however, mono and no grey is bugged, not only does the grey still show, the mouse movement is frozen to the middle lane.

The whole thing doesn't work for me at all, I've tried downloading the programs and changing it, i've changed the tag-title for about 50 songs, and the mode i'm playing never changes, always the same.  Is the problem with my game, cause the game reads the title fine.  Or with my OS, it's just vista service pack.  I really want to play some of these extra modes, and it's really frustrating staying up at all hours of the night to try and get this to work.

are you running a legitimate and fully updated copy of the game?

Shouldn't that be click the "Apply" button and then follow with "Okay"?
As far as I know, clicking "Okay" without having first clicked "Apply" simply leaves things as they were prior to any editing in there.

no, the okay button saves settings and closes the menu.  the apply button saves your settings but leaves the window open for further changes.

You can't just edit the file title, you have to edit the accual mp3 tag

I'm pretty sure that's what he did, and I know that that's what I did, and it doesn't work at all in the slightest.

Hey! Newly registered -but longtime player- here.

Just a quick question regarding the custom tags. Anyone knows to what extent are they removed when scrobbled to last.fm? Does anything between brackets get snipped? Anything of the format " [as-*]"? Just the supported tags?

I wanted to get unique scoreboards to run a local tournament, and if it can be done while mantaining last.fm support it would be extra nifty.  :D

Note that these keywords are removed before Audiosurf sends the song's title to last.fm

Tags will not affect anything submitted to last.fm. Provided, of course, that you use tags audiosurf actually recognizes and removes :P

Yes, I wanted to know if AS also removed bracketed tags it didn't recognize, because I'd find that actually useful.

Anyway, in case it's useful for someone else... After doing some research, it seems like what it does is remove everything after (and including) the first recognized tag.

e.g.
Artist - Track [as-monoonly] [foo] will be scrobbled as Artist - Track
Artist - Track [bar] will be scrobbled as Artist - Track [bar]

You could do "Songname [as-thistagisforthetournamentrunbybaldrick]" and it would pull that off. Everything after and including the first "[as-" is stripped off.
