Sorry people, I won't be able to finish with the 2 remaining songs of Kain until Monday, my PC went into some troubles :(

Hey,

I've been checking out the daily challenge songs you've picked for the week, and it seems to me that you're just picking songs from Kain Vinosec's Taking Out Anger album which is fine, but he has 7(he had 6 when the week started) other albums to have picked songs from. Of your choices of Taking Out Anger songs why not just have picked the last track For Never, which is basically a compilation of the entire album, and move onto another album? My other question is why not pick songs from his main attraction: The Championship and Nightmare Battles albums. I'm just wondering why you've chosen these songs, not trying to nit-pick you or anything, just curious?

P.S. Why couldn't you pick his song "You Suck Ass"

I can't help it. Y'know I've got just such a huge ass that I keep falling in there. It's a real problem.

I'll refrain from posting again though if it'll prevent you from being cruel to those that don't necessarily deserve it.
Plz dont mind the dog, he's just a stray that keeps coming in for more food.

Thanks for featuring my music ViRUS. It was pretty cool. Feel free to use my songs any time.

I've put up a zip file of the songs you chose on my website if anyone ever wants to go back and surf them again or whatever.

Tried this this morning, really cool :)
It's good to try stuff you don't already own.

Hey people, I really want to keep this thing on but right now I can't because of 2 problems:

1. I don't really have time right now (some troubles with my new PC and such) but this will get fixed really soon, it's not a real problem.
2. I don't have a server to host the song, news & songlist, I have to pay to keep using the one I used until now and I don't really want to pay a monthly fee just to keep this thing up (I wouldn't need it if it wasn't because of this)

So, if anyone wants to lend me a portion of a server (it wouldn't be that much, just 5 to 10mb of storage, I could even work with just 6mb) just PM me or post here, until that I don't really see other solution :-\

You don't need that much storage, but it's quite a lot of bandwidth per day.

Yeah, that's the real problem, in 21 days I reached 1.34GB of bandwith...

couldn't you just upload the song of the day to mediafire, easyshare, badongo, etc..?  then provide the link in the app startup window -- then if others have a song they'd like to see on song of the day they can upload and send you the link

only thing i'd suggest is no super-popular bands that would have record companies searching for their songs to kill download links.  and just rar or zip the song with the date as the name or something.

Yeah, that would be a nice option if I can't solve this server problem soon (and I think I won't as things are going), and restore the Download functionality of the program as soon as I get the new server... I'm gonna think on that...

That wouldn't be very nice, because the whole point is that it's easy and fast to get the song. I don't really want to click a link, have to wait for a 1 minute cooldown, and then be downloading the song at 20Kb/s. It's too much effort for a daily song tbh.

there's no waittime on mediafire or badango, and a few others... and unless your on 56k the dl should be under 20 seconds...
