I dunno, this was a good article, and it pretty much sums up the video gaming industry.  I think that audiosurf is very much a prime example of a game that starts easy, but becomes complex if one so desires.  Fits perfectly in the "start low tier, move to high tier" philosophy in the article.

Birdmen exist because I know in my heart they only show themselves when they want so i know they exist. Scientists actually believe in Birdmen and look for them. Both in the west and in the east they talk about Birdmen but they didn't communicate so that's how i know they exist.
