Thanks m8, working now. I used the reg file you posted to set the reg to point at my steam directory ( D://games//steam/ ) and its all working now.

FYI: I actually update the first post everytime I put up a new version The attachment in the first post is actually the latest version, so is the link. I just put in a link in the latest post so you don't have to go all the way back.

MyAudiosurf would be the only laucher I used if it included Screen Tilt and all the other WM copydata bonus features.


Also, while I'm at it, one other request: could you either release a configuration client that I can launch without have AS autostart (i know I can change that in the options, but I like it autostarting), or a little flag in the shortcut line (like MyAudiosurf.exe -nostart, or whatever) so I can change settings without having to quickly juggle over to the steam launcher window.

Sure, I'll add a command-line, it can come in handy if you want to change one setting for the next time it starts.

I still don't get it, I don't see anything about ScreenTilt and/or any other WM_COPYDATA thingies. Someone just explain it to me please? Is it some kind of asconfig command?

yes its similar to asconfig commands. the asconfig commands are SENT using wm_copydata commands, thats just how it works.

And how do I activate this ScreenTilt? I don't see anything about it in Dylan's first post? But maybe I'm blind, comes with the years xD

@Riffraff: So you want me to add supprot to MyAudioSurf so it automaticly sets specific settings for you? Just liek it does the window state and such?

I was a little occupied, so it will be a bit later. Though, could someone tell me what these options do:

asconfig sidewinder <true/false>
asconfig freeridecaterpillars <true/false>
asconfig freerideautoadvance <true/false>

I enabled them and such, but don't really see anything special. Also, can these options all be enabled at once? Etcetera, I would like some information.

They should be described in the topic, just read through it.

I know autoadvance does exactly that, it autoadvances a song once you finish one and goes onto the next one, you use it in playlists so you don't have to hit "Continue" or "Next song".

Sidewinder changes the background and track stuff, and it makes it as if you're playing on a narrow lane on the edge of a cliff, I think.
